Welcome to MeetCue. By creating an account, accessing the platform, or using any MeetCue service (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

MeetCue LLC (“MeetCue,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides AI-assisted matchmaking, curated venue recommendations, and tools for arranging social meetups.

1. Eligibility

You must:

  • Be at least 21 years old

  • Be legally able to enter into a binding contract

  • Not have been previously banned from MeetCue

  • Use the Service only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes

We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 21. If we discover an underage account, it will be terminated.

By using the Service, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.

2. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

By using MeetCue, you consent to the collection, use, storage, and processing of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

3. Electronic Communications Consent

By using the Service, you consent to receive electronic communications from MeetCue, including:

  • Account notifications

  • Service updates

  • Billing notices

  • Security alerts

  • Marketing communications (where permitted by law)

You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate other users

  • Impersonate another person

  • Provide false or misleading information

  • Use the Service for commercial solicitation

  • Upload unlawful, hateful, abusive, or sexually exploitative content

  • Reverse engineer, scrape, copy, or exploit the platform or AI systems

  • Circumvent safety features or moderation systems

  • Use bots or automated scripts without authorization

MeetCue reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations.

5. User Conduct & Assumption of Risk

MeetCue does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any user’s:

  • Actions

  • Communications

  • Decisions

  • Behavior during or after meetups

  • Compliance with laws

  • Meeting people in person carries inherent risk, including risks related to alcohol consumption, travel, and social interactions.

  • You voluntarily assume all risks associated with:

  • Meeting other users

  • Visiting venues

  • Dining or drinking

  • Traveling

  • Participating in social activities

MeetCue is not responsible for user decisions or conduct.

6. Venues & Third-Party Partners

MeetCue partners with third-party venues but does not own, manage, or supervise them.

MeetCue is not liable for:

  • Injuries or incidents at venues

  • Food or beverage quality

  • Alcohol service

  • Staff conduct

  • Changes in venue availability

Any disputes with a venue must be resolved directly with that venue.

Users are responsible for complying with all applicable alcohol and safety laws.

7. AI & Automated Decision-Making

MeetCue uses AI systems, including EMMA, to generate:

  • Match recommendations

  • Personality insights

  • Venue suggestions

  • Timing recommendations

  • AI outputs are probabilistic and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased.

  • You acknowledge that:

  • AI does not guarantee compatibility or outcomes

  • AI recommendations are informational only

  • AI may reflect statistical patterns that do not apply to individuals

MeetCue does not guarantee fairness, compatibility, or specific results from AI systems.

8. Identity Verification Limitations

Identity verification tools may confirm document validity but:

  • Are not background checks

  • Do not verify intentions

  • Do not eliminate fraudulent users

  • Verification does not guarantee safety.

9. User Content & License

You retain ownership of content you submit.

By submitting content, you grant MeetCue a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

  • Store

  • Process

  • Analyze

  • Modify

  • Display internally

  • Improve the Service

You represent that you have rights to submit the content.

MeetCue may remove content at its discretion.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including software, AI systems, branding, and content, is owned by MeetCue LLC.

You may not:

  • Copy

  • Reverse engineer

  • Extract training data

  • Scrape

  • Reproduce

  • Commercialize

    any part of the Service without written permission.

11. DMCA & Copyright Policy

If you believe your copyrighted material has been infringed, send a written notice including:

  • Identification of copyrighted work

  • Identification of infringing material

  • Your contact information

  • A statement under penalty of perjury

Notices may be sent to: admin@meetcue.com

MeetCue may remove infringing content and terminate repeat infringers.

12. Payments, Subscriptions & Refunds

MeetCue may charge fees for:

  • Match recommendations

  • Booking services

  • Venue-based experiences

  • Subscriptions

Unless required by law:

  • All purchases are final

  • Subscription fees are non-refundable

  • Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled

  • Promotional credits have no cash value

  • Pricing may change with notice.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MeetCue LLC and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service

  • Your conduct

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your interactions with other users or venues

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MeetCue is not liable for:

  • Personal injury

  • Emotional distress

  • Property damage

  • Financial loss

  • Lost profits

  • Criminal acts of users

  • AI-related outcomes

  • Venue incidents

MeetCue’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to MeetCue in the prior 12 months.

15. Arbitration & Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.

Arbitration will occur in North Carolina unless otherwise required by law.

You waive the right to a jury trial.

You waive participation in class actions.

Claims must be brought individually.

Either party may bring qualifying claims in small claims court.

You may opt out of arbitration by sending written notice within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.

16. Force Majeure

MeetCue is not liable for delays or failure due to events beyond reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters

  • Government actions

  • Infrastructure failures

  • Third-party service outages

17. Termination

MeetCue may suspend or terminate accounts at any time for safety, abuse, fraud, or policy violations.

Users may delete accounts at any time.

18. Export & Sanctions Compliance

You may not use the Service if you are subject to U.S. sanctions or located in a prohibited jurisdiction.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.

The following sections survive termination:

  • Intellectual Property

  • Indemnification

  • Limitation of Liability

  • Arbitration

  • Governing Law

21. Modifications

MeetCue may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updates.
